Great book for my "rowdy" kid who was having trouble with multiplication. This kept his interest.
The book is really good and my child didn't hate working on it over the summer, so that's a plus! BUT, the editing is horrendous! There are SO MANY misspellings! The authors obviously have no idea about the plural S, the possessive S and apostrophes! So, while the math content was gapped, the English leaves a lot to be desired. Please hire an editor/proofreader!
This book is a great way to learn and build multiplication skills. We like the scenarios that help link kid-thinking and imagination to math.
I was especially surprised with the inclusion of square footage/area these aren't just math problems for the sake of memorizing facts. These have helped relate math to the real world. There are even some cool ways to learn multiplication that I wish I had known as a kid!
I also like that our son wants to keep reading on to the next page even after we have "finished" with a lesson.
We'll definitely be using this with our daughter when she is a bit older. Thanks!
