I love the Trent character who is sweet and kind but also has this evil force in him that he doesn’t allow to take over because he chooses love. I also love his fiance who is so devoted to him no matter what. The choices they have to make for the love of their life knowing that it will cost lives of innocent people and they understand that no matter what, you can’t let evil prevail.I admire the forgiveness and generosity for his long lost sister. They never give up. Sacrifices of others they barely know who fight for them knowing it will cost their life, like the priest and the hope they have in a situation that seems like a battle they can’t win. Being a victim of the past and knowing that you are not what others say, but you are what you make of yourself.
A lot of powerful and great lessons for everyone's journey if you just remember that in the midst of it all love will always prevail.

Bone of my Bone - a review by Rosemary Kenny
Trent Mattheson has a strange, dark secret that he keeps hidden from even his pregnant fiance Tina.
When she gives birth to a son, Fraser and lies recovering at the hospital, she sees a sight so awful she seems deranged to staff and loved ones, so Trent is obliged to take Fraser home alone, while Tina is committed to a mental facility to rest and recover fully.
Unknown to poor Tina, Trent is not all he seems and both she and Fraser are in mortal danger from otherworldly forces, resulting in others paying the price for Trent's failure to co-operate with their demonic demands.
A wonderful, imaginative, scary, thrilling tale like no other, Tanya R Taylor's excellent novel,
Bone of my Bone is book 3 in the Real Illusions Series.
I highly recommend it to fans of The Golden Child and The Exorcist, or anyone who enjoys a delicious chill-down-the-back-of your-neck thriller. Get your copy soon, but don't read it alone, or in the dark!
As in other great books by Tanya R Taylor, the author keeps the reader on the edge of their seat! We begin to wonder if the obstacles put in the way of the protagonists will ever be removed so they can live happy and normal lives together. Despite shock, horror and tragedy, we read about unconditional love, faithful friendship and strong family ties, as well as the power of parents’ love for their offspring. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and can hardly wait for Real Illusions IV when it is released!

Poorly written, child like vocabulary. Deleted all three books, after reading a few chapters of the first book.
