I was able to get an advanced screening of this book and it really opened up my eyes on how to be a leader that people actually enjoy following. If you've enjoyed Covey or Gladwell, you'll enjoy Flip Your Focus.As an entrepreneur I haven't had much formal leadership training but this book has been a great primer.
It's short at only 140 pages or so. I recommend snagging the Kindle version over the paperwork (That's just personal preference.) But if you like the tactile experience the prime shipping should get it to you in 2 days.

Flip Your Focus is truly a book you feel has impacted your life after reading it. Bob is a genuine man, who cares about those around him, which you can tell by this book and his leadership thinking, behaviors, and ways. The insights I took away from this book has not only allowed me to implement it in my profession, but also in raising my children. Thank you Bob for sharing your knowledge.
A great book to get you thinking about how you develop as a leader!
What an amazing read and I love how it makes you think. Bob really knows how to make you take a look at things differently. This needs to be part of every managers reading library.
Should be required reading for any manager or business owner. Showed me, very clearly, what I needed to do better plus, how to do it. This book changed my definition of leadership into a stewardship that fosters employee and customer loyalty. Simply put, my business is better for it.
Consultants write books for many reasons -often, only to make a name for themselves in building their career. Not true with Flip Your Focus. If every leader followed the precepts in this book, they could become the leader that Liz Wiseman referred to as a Multiplier... where people love their boss, perform at higher levels than average because they feel smarter than they may even be. Leaders that consider Bob's wisdom will see performance skyrocket and turnover drastically reduced or eliminated. Flip Your Focus is a significant contribution to the training and perspective leaders need, to build a team that performs above all others -a recipe for true competition in the workplace that is sorely lacking in today's business world.
